Through the mid hours of my intermittently busy evening I glanced- perchance- out Michael's technologically advanced doors (those that open by themselves) and I saw the beginnings of a beautiful sunset.I had to stop and think-although I continued to walk back to my register- when was the last time I watched or even saw a sunset?
Often caught working five to close in a perpetually artificially lit environment, I seldom have the chance to look out our sole 20' by 20' portal to the living world. But, as I stood mostly alone at Register 1 tonight, the colors of nature, shifting in the sky, somehow caught my eyes.It was lovely watching the heavens transform from a discolored blue...
