There is nothing else like them...
they're who you call when you have nothing to do. they're who listen to you stressing out that you have everything to do in under an hour. they are the keys to unforgettable memories. they are who you reminisce with about wonderful times. they make you smile with surprises and help to make you laugh when you don't want to cry in public. they spend afternoons with you when it's simply an irresistible day to drive. they would go to midnight showings of Star Wars- if the parents would allow it. they come to see you on stage, under the lights, or on the court. they go grocery shopping with you. they get ice cream with you. they agree that the only men allowed at a girls night are named Ben and Jerry. they help you find a date if you need one. they plan surprise birthday parties that work, some of the time. they procrastinate with you and make you feel better about it. they make you cookies and cake. they visit you at work. they become part of your own family, easily.
