Academia is certainly not my calling. I don't really enjoy any piece of the work besides the actual benchwork and that even gets trying if too repetitious (the inherent nature of science). Not designing experiments, not analyzing data, and not writing up my conclusions.

Sure there are fun aspects to it and I am finding delight in this season of grad school where I currently reside, but with every passing hour, my calling out of the Ivory Tower grows louder and louder.
