I could lock myself in my room and the library, meticulously completing homework assignments and research projects and filling my mind with quality books and deep knowledge. My life would consist of class/lab, studying, running, eating and sleeping.
OR.... I could juggle my precious time between scholastic duties, friends, activism, and personal free time.

Tonight, I had a paper to write and a complicated microbiology article to read. Neither is yet complete... or started. But I chose to have dinner with a dear friend and discuss the Fellowship next year and then attend an hour and a half of Christian Apologetics which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Should I have grabbed a quick dinner at home and devoted more time to my homework? Absolutely. Do I regret the meaningful and thought-provoking conversation I had instead? No way.

There is always a balance. A delicate, delicate balance.
