As the rain began to fall and the thunder to roll, she sits at her computer desk actually doing a Chemistry lab before the day it is due. But then, the lightening that lit the sky also illuminats her blue blind-covered window and she decides that tonight is simply not the night to sit inside and do homework.

Venturing outside of her sturdy shelter into the sweeping winds, the rolling thunder and the crackling lightening, she is not afraid. Summer thunderstorms make her feel alive more than anything else. The swing quickly finds her and though previously resting untouched, despite the electricity in the air, it now rocks back and forth under her weight. It is the perfect place and sit and watch the storm roll in; she is humbled by its power but mellowing in true happiness.

The only thing that could have possibly made tonight better was to have had him sitting beside her on the swing as she rested her head on his shoulder and they watched the summer thunderstorm blow in. She wouldn't have been the least bit cold either: guys have some magic ability to always keep you warm.
