So the adventure began hectically: a message from the mother to call her, a confusing but informative phone call to HBMS, rush to English "sorry, I can't be there last block", a little note left for the little sister in her locker, and I rushed out the doors of NM into a beautiful struggling spring day. A few grape tomatoes were a nice little treat for the ten minute ride home.
After a speedy visit to the homestead to get directions, to make a few more phone calls, and to pet the handsome little puppy of the house, I was off.
The highway... all by myself!!! Me and the Mazda. It was a good time. Well, we can't forget the music either: Harry was serenading me for the entirety of the trip there. Nice relaxing music. Goldfish were the snack of choice. 495 -> Mass Pike. I even did tolls!! It was so exciting.
Oh! and then, I got lost and found my way back again! It was a very big step for me, this driving to new places by my lonesome. Driving, driving, driving, listening to music, driving, oh there goes the left turn I was suppose to take. Oh well, I'll just turn around up here... SORRY!!! You are not on Rt. 9 going into Framingham?!?! Oh, and there won't be a place to turn around for about three miles. ;) Have a good day.
But it was ok. The destination was reached. And there was a nice little security guard that greeted my at the gate and he said I had a great smile. It was lovely. Boston Scientific is a very nice place. Nice people, nice lawn, nice sunny environment with lots of windows, good food: I'm quite a fan.
Venturing back home I was rockin with Ben Folds Five since I was completely comfortable with the highway by then. Munchies then became the Oreo's I had in my lunch. Me = girl who eats way too much.
The story could continue but I think that's enough.
Home safe and sound.
Today was quite an adventure. :)
