Remember how we used to get so excited in the days preceding the ultimate exciting day:
Christmas
Now, it is still exciting as we wait for the snow to fall and to hear the jingle bells ringing. As we drive down the street, the white and colored lights still do look pretty and festive. But we drive now-a-days and it's not the same as riding in the back seat with our little noses pressed to the glass as we try to be as close to the giant lighted wonderlands as possible.
yes, it's still true. :)
But whereas, when we were kids, December was a month exploding with this super-special feeling of the holidays... now, life just gets a bit of a softer edge from all the flickering candles in the windows. In blunt terms, the wonderful feeling of Christmas has plummetted. Yet since the other 11 months of the year have also decreased in quality from those of our childhood life, in comparison to the rest of the year: Christmas is still better than the norm.
nevertheless, I still can't wait for
Christmas
It's the most wonderful time of the year.
yes, it's still true. :)
