An Ode to Mothers
Mothers are oh such wonderful beings.
Superwomen, in many senses.
Who else can teach small, naive beings the right ways to live through her self-example
while being a bus to and from whatever commitments her children take on
and making sure that everyone in the household is always fed
which includes grocery shopping quite often
having planned before she shops the dinner list for the upcoming week to make sure she has everything to prepare it
not to mention setting aside the time to do the family's laundry... constantly
afterwards folding the clean clothes and ironing those that need it
and on top of everything, sometimes she is privileged to get outside and do yard work?
AND if she has a regular job on top of all that? Geez... she's just short of a miracle.
So, in light of this ode to mothers... thank yours for all of her hard work today.
and tomorrow.
hahaha, I bet you thought I was going to say something here.
and anytime in the future when the idea pops into your head. (I bet she'll be grateful for the appreciation.) it certainly doesn't come often enough.

yeah, a mother's work is endless. it takes everything out of you, yet it is hard for anyone to understand...
i mean to really really understand and appreciate unless you are a mother yourself...are you? i wonder:)
