There is something to be said about living with the same people 24/7.
School is home and home is school.
I'm glancing ahead to the next three weeks and it scares me a little bit: there is so much to do. But for some reason, I'm not at all stressed like I used to be in high school. Working until all hours of the night on daily homework or projects or papers or just knowing the pile of work that was waiting for me at the end of a day. Something is different here. Maybe it's a simple matter of less work- that is certainly a possibility. Classes do seem a bit easier. But maybe it's something else. Maybe it's having your friends who live seconds down the hall to vent with about the ridiculous professor or the two lab reports you still have to write. Maybe it's not being alone at midnight (or later) doing that stupid assignment and when you're almost at the point of breaking down due to frustration you have someone who knows your pain and can get you laughing to break the work for a few minutes.

Maybe it's simply that I was well prepared for this new era of education, I have a strong foundation, I've learned time management, study stills, not to procrastinate (yeah... right.), etc. etc.

But maybe it's something unique... something that only comes with dorm life.
whatever it is, i'll take it. :)
