I just walked into my room with an arm full of books and papers- a study guide and some Molecular Bio notes- dressed in a tee shirt that is too big for me and pj pants that Cooper ripped a hole in when he was a puppy and I was home from high school due to strep throat. I had just come from the living room where I had spent the past two hours with my roommate and boyfriend watching a great and then mindless TV show while sort of working on the study guide. I entered my room that always smells like fresh linen since the laundry room vents directly below my window and set my pile of paper on my desk which is currently also occupied by a scholarship application, agenda, half-full glass of water, and notes to add to the leadership meeting agenda that I'll be finishing tonight. My light blanket is nicely crumpled up by the window where I was reading political science earlier this afternoon and the two pillows that were enlisted in the same venture have now fallen towards the wall. The dishwasher is running in the kitchen. My Bible sits open, currently neglected, on my bed.
I am at college. I have lots of work to do. But life is good. I am really happy for that.
