*He said I have black soul in my voice; and my words were frozen in gratitude.
*She and I talked in the dark sharing stories on end; and I forgot that we were missing valuable sleep just to get to know each other.
*She made cookies and smiled and laughed and that was enough; because the joy spread.
*He sometimes was a shoulder to lean on or other times was someone you could count on to dance like a white guy does; and I was happy to be a white girl dancing right along side him.
*He stepped up to the challenge of her image and it turned out hilarious; there are no other words.
*She had the walk, she had the attitude... and she played a geek very well; who would have thought?
*The mother suited her aura of maturity and goodness; well done.
*She not only dyed her hair blue... oh no, she died her team’s hair blue; I was amazed at the spirit.
*Il m’a frappé comme un ami; et par le fin, j’ai réalisé que nous étions, en effet, très similars.

Here is my small tribute to three full days at a strange new college where I met nine of the most amazing people I believe I have ever met.

It was outstanding. ;)
