The initial flurries created illusions of white snakes that went side winding and slithering blindly across Route 3 before the wheels of many travelers driving home from Christmas celebrations and before a certain, tired, blue-eyed girl simply driving to work.
These creatures multiplied rapidly and soon enormous boisterous ghosts blanketed every roadway, silently muffling the moving tires above them.
Oh snowy snowy snowy world, goodnight.
let the snow continue to fall since we have no control.

oh, this is real pretty !!
(it makes snow & winter seem so appealing! i just don't like it when those white snow-snakes get caught up in the wind & whip across my legs when we're running in it.)
