You are influenced by the people you surround yourself with. friends.

A while ago, I needed them there to maintain my sanity, my personality, or else I may have slipped. not fallen, but slipped. I didn't want to say it then but most knew it was true. denial. and I am forever grateful for nothing other than your friendship and perpetual good conversation. through the times of transition and chaotic schedules of bells and smiles i was disoriented and questioned and almost changed. in my heart i know I may have. the blood that runs through me shared in my temporary confusion and it was unusual i found no guidance from within. the silence tended to push me further in fact. but now as I stand on the shores of new, shifting waters- an infinte ocean of possibility- i thank you for the stability.

mirrors do not lie and i can see truth in my reflection- encore.
